PHECC Responder
Course Summary
The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), has designed the Cardiac First Response (CFR) and Epinephrine (Adrenaline) standard to offer appropriate training to individuals and groups who wish to avail of certified training in basic life support and the administration of Epinephrine (Adrenaline) for the emergency treatment of adults and children (< 16 years old) with anaphylaxis(anaphylactic shock).
This course's duration is approximately one day for NEw CFR Responders. For those already holding a valid CFR community Certificate the medications management and administration add on shall take approx 3 hours

Award of joint PHECC/RECFIRSTAID Ltd CFR cards/certificates to successful course participants by the recognised institution is mandatory. Certification lapses after two years.
Learners will be continually assessed throughout the course on the practical skills acquired on the course.
